1. Purpose

These Terms govern access to and use of the SheetCrafter service, a TTRPG character sheet creation platform published by EI Marc GAPASIN. They form the contract between the user and SheetCrafter.

2. Acceptance

By accessing the service or creating an account, you unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not accept, you must not use the service.

3. Service access

The service is accessible 24/7, subject to maintenance or technical interruption. SheetCrafter does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

4. User account

Registration requires a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and any activity from your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. User content

You retain ownership of all content you create on SheetCrafter.

By uploading content, you grant SheetCrafter a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display that content solely to operate the service.

You warrant that your content does not infringe third-party rights.

6. Third-party intellectual property

Game systems are protected by their publishers' copyright. You are responsible for complying with their licences (e.g. OGL, Fan Content Policy). SheetCrafter accepts no liability for any infringement by the user.

7. SheetCrafter intellectual property

The SheetCrafter software, interface, features, source code and brand are the exclusive property of EI Marc GAPASIN. No licence over these elements is granted beyond the right to use the service.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
  • upload unlawful, defamatory, pornographic or rights-infringing content
  • attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the service
  • reverse-engineer the software
  • sell, rent or transfer your access to third parties

9. Pricing

SheetCrafter offers free access (FREE) and paid subscriptions (TIER1 — Dungeon Master, TIER2 — Master of Realms). Prices are in euros including all taxes. SheetCrafter reserves the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

10. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified provider. SheetCrafter stores no card data.

11. Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, with no pro-rata refund.

12. Withdrawal right

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the withdrawal right does not apply to digital content delivered immediately after payment. By activating your subscription, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal.

13. Termination by user

You may terminate your account at any time from settings. For paid subscriptions, termination takes effect at the end of the current period.

14. Termination by SheetCrafter

SheetCrafter reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access in the event of a breach of these Terms, unlawful activity or non-payment. In the event of serious misconduct, no refund will be issued.

15. Effect of termination

Upon termination, your access is immediately cut. Your data is deleted in accordance with the privacy policy. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (IP, liability limitation, governing law) remain in force.

16. Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. SheetCrafter does not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

17. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SheetCrafter shall not be liable for indirect damages or data loss. SheetCrafter's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the past 12 months.

18. Force majeure

SheetCrafter cannot be held liable for a failure caused by a force majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

19. Subcontractors

SheetCrafter uses third-party providers: OVH, Supabase, AWS (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (emails). These providers are bound by contractual obligations compliant with the GDPR.

20. Personal data

The processing of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

21. Consumer mediation

You may use free consumer mediation by contacting: CM2C, 14 rue Saint Jean – 75017 Paris. Mediation may only be initiated after attempting to resolve the dispute directly with SheetCrafter.

22. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law.

23. Jurisdiction

For disputes not resolved through mediation, French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.

24. Language

The French version is the only legally binding version. Any translation is for informational purposes only.

25. Severability

If any provision is found to be invalid by a competent court, the remaining provisions remain in force.

26. Modifications

SheetCrafter reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified by email or via a banner at least 30 days before they take effect.
